How to use this simulator
What is a clinical cue? A clinical cue is the next event or observation in the same emergency. It tells the learner what has changed and prompts the next decision. Older simulation language may call this a "trigger."
- 1. Select setup Choose the case and mode. Optional learner details may be entered for documentation.
- 2. Start and read Tap Start simulation, read the clinical cue, and review the timer/status boxes.
- 3. Select actions Tap the actions the team should do now. Select only the allowed number shown on the screen.
- 4. Commit Tap Commit selected actions to score the step and see feedback.
- 5. Advance After feedback, tap Advance for the next cue. Use More clinical data or Teaching hint when appropriate.
- 6. Debrief Review scores, facilitator/observer checklist, safety issues, timeline, and exportable documentation.
Important: The simulator is not asking for a diagnosis at each cue. It is asking, "What should the team do next, right now?"
