Clinical use: This calculator implements ACOG/AIUM/SMFM Committee Opinion No. 700, Table 1. The threshold is determined from gestational age by LMP on the ultrasound date, not ultrasound age. Thresholds apply to first appropriate ultrasound used to establish dating, not to routine reassessment of an already established due date. Ultrasound quality and clinical judgment matter, particularly at 28 weeks or later. An ultrasound that has not confirmed or revised dating before 22w0d indicates a suboptimally dated pregnancy. ACOG Committee Opinion No. 700.
